Tube Straightening Machine
The Cometo tube straightening machine is an advanced solution for straightening and cutting tubes with diameters ranging from 0.8 mm to 15.0 mm, ensuring high precision and processing quality.
Thanks to its roller straightening system, the machine is able to straighten tubes without deforming or damaging the surface, using dedicated round grooves. This technology makes it particularly suitable for processing materials such as steel, copper alloys, and aluminum, ensuring a precise and gentle treatment without compromising structural integrity.
The modular structure is based on a robust welded frame, designed to offer maximum operational flexibility. This allows the system to be configured according to production requirements, with options to select from various straightener sizes, three types of feeders, and two cutting unit sizes.
Precision & Length Control
The cutting length setting is intuitive and user-friendly, allowing the operator to input the desired value directly via a touch-screen.
The feed speed is adjustable from 5% to 100% of the machine's maximum capacity, with a productivity rate of up to 92 bars per minute for 1000 mm bars. The cutting length accuracy is ensured by an encoder system with a precision of 0.1 mm.
Bar Discharge System
The bar discharge system is available in three configurations:
- Discharge for short bars
- Motorized modular cradle discharge, available in lengths from 1000 mm to 6000 mm
- Scrap separation system, which automatically removes the first produced pieces to eliminate potential defects, ensuring maximum batch quality
Quiet Operation & Ergonomics
One of the key advantages of the MTF22-6 is its exceptionally low noise level, ensuring a more comfortable and safer work environment for operators, especially during continuous operation.
TD125 Cutting Unit with Disc Cutter
For customers requiring high-precision cutting and superior quality, Cometo offers the TD125 cutting unit, equipped with a disc cutter capable of performing perfectly perpendicular, clean, and burr-free cuts.
This solution is particularly suitable for:
- Hard materials up to 44 HRC
- Applications requiring high-quality cuts
- Tube cutting
Payoff System
For all Cometo machines, customers can choose between a horizontal or vertical payoff system, depending on their internal production needs.
The horizontal payoff is an excellent choice for minimizing machine downtime, as it features a coil lifting system that allows for quick and efficient coil changes.
