Cometo MTF66 2D Bending Machine
The Cometo MTF66 is a high-performance 2D bending machine, designed for processing materials with diameters ranging from 0.8 mm to 6.0 mm and equipped with a chamfering system for wires from 2.0 mm to 6.0 mm.
Thanks to its roller straightening system, the MTF66 can process round, square, hexagonal, and various shaped profiles, including materials such as steel, copper alloys, and aluminum, without compromising the surface quality.
The machine is mounted on a welded steel frame, designed for strength and flexibility in configuration. It can be customized with wire straighteners of various sizes and three types of feeders to adapt to specific production needs.
Cutting Unit
- ECM05:
Guillotine cutting unit, available with either a "bushing-to-bushing" knife or an open knife, suitable for wires up to 6 mm in diameter.
Optional Chamfering System (SM12)
The SM12 chamfering unit performs a V-shaped incision on the straightened wire, followed by precise cutting at the incision point. The system can be configured for:
- Chamfering on one end of the wire
- Chamfering on both ends
- Cutting only, without chamfering
Customizable Discharge System
The system for ejecting finished parts is available with a maximum length of 900 mm or can be customized according to customer requirements.
Maximum Precision & Performance
The bending axis is controlled by a Brushless motor, ensuring high speed and precision during operation.
Precision & Length Control
The cutting length setting is intuitive and user-friendly, allowing the operator to input the desired value directly via the touch-screen.
The feed speed is adjustable from 5% to 100% of the machine’s maximum capacity.
The cutting length accuracy is ensured by an encoder system with a precision of ± 0.1 mm.

Payoff System
For all Cometo machines, customers can choose between a horizontal or vertical payoff system, depending on their specific production needs.
