ASF wire straightener

The ASF wire straightener is a steel model, ideal for installation on coilers or galvanizing lines. It is also recommended for applications where frequent roller opening is not required. The ASF model is suitable for straightening wires with diameters ranging from 0.3 mm to 15 mm.

It is available in two configurations:

  • the ASF_1 single version, where all rollers are arranged in two rows on a single mounting plane
  • the ASF_2 double version, consisting of two single planes assembled at 90° using a connection bracket.

Depending on customer requirements, the ASF wire straightener is available with 5, 7, or 9 rollers, which are adjustable on only one of the two rows.

The ASF model can be equipped with different types of bearings.

  • CA single-row ball bearings are suitable for wires with a maximum tensile strength of R = 600 N/mm².
  • CAW double-row ball bearings in hardened steel are ideal for wires with higher tensile strength, ranging from R = 600 N/mm² to R = 2200 N/mm².

This model is versatile, cost-effective, and easy to adjust, as the rollers are regulated using a screw system. Minimal maintenance is required. Additionally, digital position indicators can be installed on the ASF wire straightener, making roller adjustment easier for the operator. These indicators allow the exact roller positions to be recorded and reused for future processing of the same wire diameter.
