The Cometo MTF22-6 wire straightening and cutting machine with a chamfering system. The model available in stock can process wires from 4 to 8 mm.
Thanks to the roller straightening system, the MTF22-6 is capable of working with round, square, hexagonal, and various shaped profiles, offering high versatility. The machine is particularly suitable for processing materials such as steel, copper alloys, and aluminum, ensuring delicate handling without compromising their surface.
Setting the cutting length is intuitive and immediate: the operator can enter the desired value directly via the touch-screen; the chamfer will be synchronized to the new length without making any mechanical modifications to the chamfering system. The cutting length is determined by an encoder group with a precision of 0.1 mm.

The SM12 chamfering unit performs a “V” notch on the straightened wire, then proceeds to cut exactly at the notch location. The system can be configured for: chamfering on one end of the wire, chamfering on both ends, cutting only, without chamfering.
