Cometo cutter model TAG10
Cometo cutter model TAG10 is suitable for the cutting of wire from minimum diameter 1mm to maximum diameter 12mm. The cutting unit TAG10 also offers the possibility to cut plates and profiles with maximum width 12mm. The unit is available in three versions:
- pneumatic
- hydraulic
motorized with brushless motor
Technical Features
The unit's structure is made from a U-shaped cast iron block, within which a rectangular-section carriage moves. The carriage guiding system utilizes INA full-complement rollers, with hardened surfaces to ensure durability and precision. The run of the carriage is regulated by means of adjusting strips and a centralized oiling device provides the unit lubricating. The cutter is positioned in the middle of the carriage, on the same thrust axis.
The processed material is guided through an interchangeable perforated bushing, which can be adjusted to fit different sizes. Both the guiding system and the blade are designed for quick replacement, minimizing downtime during format changes.
Operation & Performance
The TAG10 unit operates using a guillotine cutting system, which secures the material during the cutting process to guarantee high precision. It is compatible with Cometo's feeder range, ensuring seamless integration into production lines.
Pressure Specifications
- Pneumatic version: Input pressure 1-6 kg/cm², cutting force 1,800 kg.
- Hydraulic version: Input pressure 50-150 kg/cm², cutting force 4,500 kg.
Cutting cycle time: ~0.4 seconds for material with a 12 mm diameter.
